After participating, you will leave with:
An awareness of your negative cycle and how to de-escalate conflict.
A clearer understanding of the root causes of conflict and the tools to communicate with each other more effectively.
A refame of how you approach the issues in your relationship, viewing yourself and your partner in a new way.
An ability to get underneath conflict and better understand your and your partner’s emotions, fears, and relationship hopes.
Intensive FAQs
-
If an active addiction or substance misuse issue is affecting one or both partners.
If there is an active breach of trust in the relationship, such as an ongoing affair, or something that is outside of the relationship agreements for non-monogamous couples.
If being together in the same room is too triggering, or you haven’t been able to be in the same space without being civil, this format will not be productive.
If you both have different goals for therapy. For example, if one partner wants to work on the relationship, and the other partner wants to end it. However, if you are undecided together and willing to explore moving forward or ending the relationship, that is a common goal and will work for this format.
